House Rules

At Mason Lofts we work hard to ensure that all guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay. Please understand that this building has a strict, no-warnings-given, rule policy with applicable fines.

1. Smoking

Absolutely no smoking or vaping allowed anywhere on the premises – including balconies, main entrance, lobby, parking garage, etc. There will be a $300 fine per occurrence.

6. Minimum Age

Guests must be 21 years or older in order to book an apartment. The person whose name is on the reservation must be present during check-in and throughout the duration of the stay. 

2. Building Quiet Hours

The building quiet hours are between 10:00 PM CT – 8:00 AM CT. There will be a $200 fine per noise complaint that occurs during this time.

All apartments have noise-level monitoring devices. Please note that these devices can only monitor the noise level in decibels and do not record anything other than a decibel reading.  

7. Long Stays

Any booking that exceeds 13 nights will be subject to a mandatory mid-stay clean. An additional cleaning fee of the same amount as the final clean will also be applied

3. Pets

No pets of any kind are allowed in the apartments or on the Mason Lofts premises. If you have a service dog, we kindly ask you to inform your host

8. Maximum Capacity

Guests may not exceed their apartment’s listed capacity without host approval and necessary fees.

4. Parties

No parties or gatherings that exceed the apartment’s listed capacity are allowed any where on the premises. 

9. Security

Illegal activity of any kind will not be tolerated and will be reported to the police. For security reasons, there are security cameras in the common areas of the building, in the parking garage, and outside of the building. There are no recording devices in any of the apartments. 

5. Damages

Please do not tape or adhere anything to the walls. Upon cleaning of the apartment, any missing or damaged items will be the responsibility of the guests.

10. Check-in + Check-out

In-person check-in is available between 4:00 – 5:00 PM CT. After 5:00 PM, only self check-in will be available.

Check-out is prior to at 11:00 AM CT.

Early check-ins and late check-outs are based on availability and can be requested one day before from your host. A $50 fee applies to early check-in or late checkout. Please also be sure to let your host know your anticipated time of arrival a day before check-in. 

 

11. Security Deposit

Apartments 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, 301, 305, 306:

A $300 security deposit will be placed on your account as a hold (not a charge), one (1) day prior to check-in. This will be released after checkout, provided that there are no damages to the apartment or any violation of house rules. 

 

Apartments 302, 303, 304, 307:

A $500 security deposit will be placed on your account as a hold (not a charge), one (1) day prior to check-in. This will be released after checkout provided that there are no damages to the apartment or any violation of house rules.
